 Discover the joy of sewing in the stunning setting of Ardgillan Castle.

Whether you’re brand new to the machine or ready to tackle a stylish new bag project, our small, friendly classes will help you build skills, spark creativity, and make something you’re proud of.

We provide the fabric and hardware — you bring your own sewing machine and a little curiosity! Over time, you’ll gain the confidence and techniques you need to create beautiful, practical pieces, including your very own custom bags.

Class Options:

Sewing classes - Beginner  – Sunday Afternoons  1.30pm - 3.30pm

For adults learning the essentials: getting to know your machine, simple stitches, and foundational techniques and beginner friendly projects.

Bagmaking Classes - Confident Beginner – Saturday Afternoons 2pm - 4pm

Focused sessions creating specific bags, from simple totes to more detailed designs.  Bag Kits (Fabric, zips and Hardware) included.
